Extremely Rude folks to deal with. They will try to scam you out of your money and not even properly diagnose your car. No integrity what so ever and very deceitful. Reviews are good, however I believe them to be fake or done by the owners
My mini van had an odor of gas after a long drive down to the Outer Banks. I looked on-line for an auto repair shop and picked Beach Ready Auto based on the reviews. I am so happy that we chose Beach Ready Auto. The place was very clean, professional and friendly. They understood that we needed the car fixed quickly. Unfortunately for us we needed a part that would take 2 days to get. I tried renting a car but none were available. The owner who couldn't be more pleasant, friendly, and accommodating GAVE us his car to use for the 2 days. The car was fixed on schedule and we were very pleased with the work. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a good reputable mechanic. If Jasmine the dog is there, make sure you say hi. Thanks again to Beach Ready Auto.
I asked for a refund, and not even the entire amount I got taken for. Got a phone call from the owner at this shop, making excuses, trying to compare my job with theirs, claiming the warranty company denied the claim on the timing chain. Guess what? They never called my company about the timing chain. Ever. I have emails between them and myself stating this shop never called and asked to have the timing chain covered, and if they did they would have covered it! They called initially about the adjustment of valves and that was it. This shop owner told me I had a "Low tier" plan, and the folks at the warranty company were "rude". At no time were they ever rude to the shop that replaced the motor, nor have they ever been rude to me. Told multiple times on the phone that my warranty company had been called about the timing chain, and was told they were my "friends" and wouldn't screw me over. Well, you did. And lied.

Much of our customer base is repeat local customers that have been coming to us for years, but we look forward to helping the out of towners who have the misfortune of car troubles on their vacations as well as new locals looking to find a new mechanic.
Owner claimed he had been given pictures and had talked to the shop that replaced the motor. Never happened. The repair shop that did the engine replacement never sent him pictures nor did they ever discuss the motor with him. Although his wife called them one day on her cell phone with the speaker on trying to get them to talk about it, and was told they weren't discussing it, and there was no more communication between the shop and this one after. Lies, after lies. I know I won't see a penny back from this shady garage but if this review prevents someone else from being ripped off and lied to then that's ok with me.
Worst experience ever in 21 years of owning a car and needing service. Took my vehicle in for a noise coming from what was obvious the top end. After a few days was diagnosed as needing a valve train adjustment, they called my warranty company which denied claim. Well, then it turns into needing a timing chain. I have a warranty on the car that covers major repairs, not maintenance. When I asked if the warranty company was called, was told her, and they denied it due to it not being covered. So I had no choice but to pay out of pocket. A week later the car was done and ready. The very next morning the noise was still there as bad as it ever was. I called the owner and was basically told "bring it back", no apology offered.
I took the car to a different shop, and within days the engine was replaced by my warranty company. At almost no cost to me. Why? Because the other shop actually did their job, and worked with my warranty company.
This auto shop is clean and very laid back. I had the mechanics go over my used auto to see what repairs might need to be made. He was able to locate and replace belts. He could have given me a long list but said that my 2004 was in great shape. I only needed to get the belts done at an affordable price. Definatetly going back to Beach Ready Auto with Guest Wifi!
